A typical night at the Haines house

The tree on the right was hit by lightning a month ago and was not strong enough to withstand the wind. It fell in the afternoon and took half of a dead tree down with it and damaged a few slats of fence when it fell.

This tree was supposedly a healthy tree that just came crashing down around 8 pm last night while I was washing the dishes. The top of the tree is about 12 feet away from the house- the only damage is to a section of fence. It made us a little nervous- we had Clark sleep with Spencer (not in his attic room) and moved Laurel's crib away from the wall. Everyone is safe!

We needed some extra storage space, so Scott built these shelves in the garage above the garage door. All that space was just going to waste.

This is a project that Scott and Clark were able to work on together.
