On August 4, 2024 Elder Haines was set apart as a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will be doing 9 days of training online at home then he heads to Brazil ultimately to serve in Bahia for two years.
He flew out on August 14.
He arrived in São Paulo on 15 Agosto
