What an expressive face

Grant was not entirely satisfied with tonight's dinner options.

Swinging Bridge Tree Farm

We went out toward Boone and visited the Swinging Bridge Tree Farm.

Jen found the tree and Scott cut it down.

Now we're ready for Christmas.

In the name of Science

Clark loves doing science projects. Jen found a good experiment book, and we've been launching, smashing and exploding.

Here Clark is trying out the Fettucine Bridge before we smash it with a load of books. (It wasn't even stable enough to support it's own weight, but with a little extra tape we supported 7 books before the bridge cracked.)

Fairy Stones

We went up to Virginia and explored Fairy Stone State Park

We hiked the old Iron Mine trail

We even found a couple of fairy stones.

Mowing the lawn in November

That's one thing we probably won't have to worry about in Iowa.
