Spencer was out playing on his scooter. It was chilly, but he has embraced spring and is not going back, so he was out in his flip flops and short sleeves. The police drive down the street and slow down as they approach the house. They pull up and talked to Jen.
"We got a report that there was a little boy outside without a jacket"
"Yeah, he thinks it's spring.- Hey Spencer are you cold?"
"No, I'm OK."
Apparently Spencer is tougher than most Iowans- and that is saying a lot.

That's awesome-maybe he's Canadian at heart :) Camden has been wearing shorts then last week, must run in the Haines blood (granted, it is much warmer here!) My question is...who called the police? Really?!?! On a boy without a jacket? ;) lol
